The Student Council takes a major part in the functions of E.H.S. Each year it plans the activities of Homecoming, the Christmas program, and all special assemblies. In the last three years, it has initiated a student-teacher day, held annually in the Spring. Each Friday at E.I-I.S. is designated as dress-up day. Once a year the Student Council is responsible for the selection of a best dressed boy and girl on an unannounced Friday. This year we have placed a suggestion box in the study hall. This has helped to update some of the Student Council and school practices. The Student Council is proud of its place in the halls of E.H.S., and we hope we have added to the betterment of our school. 30
