The band was unusually busy last fall preparing for marching band contest and programs for basketball games. The band also took part in all pep assemblies and the pep band played at all basketball games. The organization is composed of members under the di- rection of William Young, who has just completed his first year at Eldon. The band also contains several small groups some of which are pictured on the next page. The girls and boys chorus have not been quite as active as the band but they have performed for P. T. A. and other organizations. One of the most outstanding programs of this year was the spring music program in which many of the contest groups and soloists appeared along with the band.
