Arahemir Erpartmvnt The work of the Academic Department isin the Old Academic Building that has just rounded out its sixty-fifth year. As an old pioneer it bravely stands a monument to the inspiration, determination and success of more than three thousand boys and girls. Each year closes in upon its lifeg the cracks in the walls are growing larger, the bell tower is frail, and the lvy is spreading. Some day, but not soon, it must give way to another and then we can say with the poet: f His face is growing sharp and thin Alack our friend is gone Close up his eyes: tie up his chin Step from the corpse and let him in That Standeth there alone, And waitelh at the door. There's a new foot on the floor, my friend, And a new face at the door, my friend A new face at the door. While the department of Agriculture and Home Making teach the boys and girls to do, this Department teaches them to: Know the parts of speech, Know the conjugation Know Gallia est divisa in partes tres.
