MR. DONALD DAHLMAN, a native of Hamilton, Ohio, has been the assistant principal in charge of aca- demics. and student and teacher scheduling a1 Elder for the last five years. Mr. Dahlman graduated from the University of Dayton and got his Master's at Ohio State. In his spare time, he enjoys photography, Euro- pean travel, and working with com- puters and short wave radios. MR. THOMAS OTTEN graduated from Elder in 1964. He returned 10 Elder four years later as a Geometry teacher, and for the past three years, he has been assistant principal in charge of discipline . Administration FR. STRITTY, a Purcell grad, came to Elder in 195'? , where he taught Latin, and English until 1970 , when he became principal. Since then he has done an outstanding job as leader of Elder. continuing his interest in the students and their activities. The stu- dent body is continually appreciative of all he has done for the Elder Com- munity. FR. STRITTMATTER: What are you looking at? I FR. KUHN: Would you buy a lottery ticket from this man? 1' t; FR. KUHN is assistant principal in charge of student affairs and religious activities. He teaches Religion and Physics but his interests go farther than that. He is moderator of the ever active Student Council and is deeply involved in all the activities. He also finds time to be chaplain of the Track, Swimming and Cross Country teams. Father was also voted the outstanding young clergyman by the Western Hills Jaycees .

Enghsh Department MR. JOSEPH F. ACITO has an A.B. in English, and teaches sophomores. Working on his Masters he returned to teach here in 1968, where he, gradu- ated in '63. He enjoys all sports, readp ing, and working outdoors. SUGAR RAY BACHUS MR. ACITO dreams about his fairy Godfather. MR. RAYMOND BACHUS is a read- ing and English teacher. After receiv- ing a 13.8. in Education from U.D. , he returned to Elder where he graduated in 1965. Serving as reserve basketball and football coach, MR. BACHUS enjoys the outdoors . MR. DONALD E. BUCHANAN, jun- ior English teacher and coach of the varsity and reserve golf teams, has a. B. A. in History from X .U.. and a M.Ed. from U.C. Enjoying all sports, he also likes viewing good movies and reading books. MR. BUCHANAN: One more time and you'll swallow my putter.
