Ubaalzg Fr, Robert Bufning, Eldcfs head librarian for 16 years, is a 1949 Elder graduate. He then went on to the Athenacun of Ohio for his A.B. in philosophy. He was ordained in 1959, then got his degree in Library Science from Mt. SLJoscph Under Fr. Bucning's direction, the library has grown in quality and quantity. He started and teaches the course in Library Scicncc for the second year. In his spare time, he enjoys a relaxing round of golf. Al 4.17.3mu7 FR. BOOKIE says Poker chips1 in the second at Belmont. Mr. Donovan gets the Bids. Mr. Spence: gets his first glimpse of streaking. Mr, Timothy Donovan is an instructor of sophomore World Culture. He graduated from Covington Catholic in 1961, and went on to U. of Dayton where he earned 21 HS and A.B. in Education in 1966. He received his MA. in History from Xavier in 1970. He enjoys outdoor sports and airplanes in his leisure time. Mr. Stephen Spencer, a newcomer to the faculty, is a graduate of both Ashland HS. and Ashland College. He earned a BS. in Education in Social Studies Comprehension. ML Spencefs hobbies include running, which coincides with his coaching the frosh C.C. and Reserve Track team. He teaches World Culture and Geography. Mr. Mark Klusman is in his sixth year at Elder, and teaches American History. He holds a B.S, in Economics as well as a M.Ed; in Social Studies from Xavier University. Mr. Kinsman is one of many Elder graduates to return as teacher, having graduated from Elder in 1961. He is the moderator of the Bike Club, and likes to play chess when he finds the time. Who says that any teacher who rides a bike to school every day is out of his mind?

Mnjohn C. Hummel, head of Eldcrk English department, teaches senior English. He is an Elder grad of 919, has an AB in Journalism and psychology from Notre Dame He then went to Law School for two years, and currently has 70 hours towards his doctorate from U.C. He has attended St. Francis Seminary and XVU.; where he earned a B.A. in English and Mid. in English. Mr. Engelhardt has a lovely wife and darling daughter, Emily, and enjoys sports, movies, and photography in his lcisurc time.
