The new wing, which represents an investment of Sl million, provides Elder with adequate facilities for l2OO students. ARCHBISHOP DEDICA TES NEW WING Civic Officials, including councilmen and Judges, representatives of the public and parochial school boards, members of the high school fund com- mittee, ioined a crowd of 2500 in dedication cere- monies of the new wing, blessed by Archbishop Alter, November 22. Ceremonies began at 3:00 P.M. with selections played by the band, followed by presentation of the flag to the school by mem- bers of the Budde Post, American Legion. Every member of City Council was present for the dedication with the exception of Mayor Clancy, an Elder Graduate, who was hospitalized with a virus infection. The new wing represents an investment of Sl,OO0,000. lt contains a cafeteria, gymnasium, science laboratories, library, and additional class- rooms. Rf., E .
