LANGUAGE Latin. German, and Span- ish comprise Elder's venture into the dead and romantic tongues. Latin is by far the most popular of the trio, un- doubtedly clue to its many usehl adaptations. But by no means are the others spited. German and Spanish are not only dealt with as foreign languages but also as histories.
