RELIGION DEPARTMENT The most important part ol any education is the molcl- ing of character. In our four years at Elder this is done in our Religion classes. Thg knowledge of moral ancl religious principles here acquired will give us a sound religious background, and will enable us to carry Catholic faith and morals into our claily lives. AS we enter the outside world, we will be confronted by those whose standards of morality and ethics are not Christian. Under these circumstances lwe will need our religious training received at Elder to continue leading upright lives.

Elaborate instruc; tions in grammar and its components are stressed the First two years. However, in the junior and senior years considerable time is spent in developing the cultural and literary viewpoints of English.
