Class History CLASS OF 1952 In September of 1948, thirteen Freshmen entered Elbert High School to begin their high school education. They were, Mavis Hitchcock, Eloise Carnahan, Jackie Ward, Dorothy Wills, Lois Burgess, Margaret Tift, Kent De Priest, Oris Baldwin, Dale Royston, Allen Gresham, Mickey Bush, Arvis Dykes, and Billy Bolejack. As we started our Sophomore year we found our ranks decreased to ten as Billy Bolejack, Arvis Dykes, and at the first of the first semester, from Otis, Colorado, and lost Allen Mickey Bush had left us.
