Good all around ball player. Leading rebounder, good jump shot, good one hand shot, good feeder, and gets ball out well for fast break. He should be one of the better players in the county again next season. BENNIE MENKE - 5'11 Junior forward. He has a good jump shot and one hand push shot. He is the leading free throw shooter on the team. Good rebounder. He has a tendency to forget training rules. In condition he makes team click. Watch him next year. JIMMY DUFFY - 6'1 Junior center. A good rebounder, good jump shot and connects well with long one hand push shots. He has a great de- sire to win. He could be the key to a very successful season next year by working hard on defense. JERRY HARRIS - 5'6 Junior guard. He is a good ball handler and jump shooter. A pressure defense will probably not bother this team. A good man on the fast break. Would be a greatly improved ball player if he could keep from getting mad at himself. MARVIN SCHULTZ - 5'7 Junior guard. His specialty is a long one hand shot. Has a good jump shot and can drive. Has a great desire to win. Teamed with Harris, they are two of the smallest, but best guards in the county. RONNIE BLESCH - 5'10 Senior. A first class reserve at either for- ward or guard. The only reserve to play in all games this year. A very good rebounder despite lack of size. Has a good push shot and jump shot. Being a Senior probably kept him from starting line up, although he started several games. He crowned the Basketball Queen. WHEW! LARRY PENNINGTON - 6'0 Junior forward. A transfer from Millers- burg. A good rebounder. Needs to practice hard on hitting baskets. Has possibilities as top reserve next year. WAYNE MARX - 5'8 Junior. Plays both forward and guard. A good shot and hard worker. He needs more experience at guard. Should be very valuable next year. MARTIN VAUGHT - 6'0 Junior. Reserve center. A left handed shooter, saw little action. Could be most improved player next season. LARRY HOLTZ - 5'7 Senior guard. One of three Seniors on squad. He saw a lot of aution and improved his shooting and ball handling during the year. He tried too hard, which probably held him back. HENRY VAUGHT - 5'10 forward or guard. He is a good one hand shot. He could be a man for spot assignments next year. LANDER DORSEY - 5'10 Senior forward. The first negro to make varsity at E. H. S. Last varsity played to score. Well liked by all players. Nicknamed Sunshine .
