P. T. A. The Elberfeld Parent Teachers Association has been organized for 14 years. They now have a membership of over one hundred. The past presidents of this organization are as follows: Mrs. Bertha Morris, Mrs. Gerhard Ahrens, Mrs. Bill Gibbons, Mrs. Edgar Hebbler, Mrs. Isabel Davis, Mrs. Henry Wheaton, Mrs. Gilbert Deneke, Mrs. Roscoe Stitt, Mrs. Robert Johnson, Mrs. Robert Vaught, Mrs. Melvin Lochmueller, Mrs. Floyd Kuhlenscmidt, Mrs. John Strunk. Howard Morris Treasurer .................................................................. Mrs. Wilfred Wheaton Their main project for the past year was to buy more playground equipment. FALL FESTIVAL The Annual Fall Festival was given by the P. T. A. October 29, 1951. The main event of the evening was the crowning of the King and Queen, Lowell Bethe and Mildred Butcher of the Sophomore Class. The attendants were: Seniors, Jess Butcher and Barbara Holmes: Juniors, Doris Skelton and Sharon Poilesg Freshmen, Logan Kolle and Jeanette Seitz. DRESS REVUE The annual Dress Revue was held on April 14 in the high school gymnasium, before the parents and teachers in the community. A tea accompanied the revue. Mrs. Holtz, Home Economics Instructor, had ten Freshmen high school girls and eighteen Junior High enrolled in sewing construction this semester. From this number we saw approximately eighty-four completed garments, as each girl had a requirement of three. There were fewer girls enrolled this year than last, but the event was equally as interesting and colorful.
