Class Prophecy It was then time for the stewardess to be back to the airport, so Barbara drove her there. The plane was going to Chicago, so she thought she would try and look up James Miller. When the plane arrived in Chicago, she took a cab to the Wrigley Building, where Jim was a prom- inent lawyer. As she walked down the hall she saw written on a door, James Miller, Attorney at Law . Just as she walked into his office he was leaving for the court room. He asked her to join him. As they were walking through the hall he said that he was now married to a lovely model. The stewardess only stayed for a few minutes at the court room, then she reported back to the airport. The plane left in an hour for St. Louis. After all the passengers were aboard the plane left. They arrived in St. Louis at 2:00 p.m. They didn't leave for Dallas, Texas, until 9:00 o'clock so she decided to do some window shopping. As she was walking by one of the large depart- ment stores she saw a familiar face and she looked again and saw it was Jess Butcher. The stewardess went over to greet him and Jess was very surprised to see her. He asked the stewardess if he could show her around his store. After they had walked around the store, she went back to the airport, where the plane was just about ready to leave for Dallas. When the plane reached Dallas, the stewardess took a cab out to the R Sn C Ranch which Clyde now owned. When she arrived there, Clyde, his wife, Rosemary, and their three children came out to meet her. After she was there a while she learned that the only classmate that she hadn't seen was Eddie McDaniel, who was now a general in the Air Force and was stationed in California. After they had eaten dinner Clyde drove the stewardess back to the airport. The plane left in an hour for California. After they arrived in California, the stewardess went to see Eddie. She and Eddie had talked for a while and she learned that he was married to a Waf. and they were both stationed at the same base. You probably have guessed who the stewardess is by now, but if you haven't, she is Sharon Trible, another Senior of '52 at Elberfeld. Sharon is quiting her job as a stewardess to go to Pennsylvania to meet her husband, Terry Trible, where they have a large new home awaiting them. . Written by Sharon Trible -- rf

Class Prophecy A few minutes later the stewardess was helping the passengers on to the plane for their flight to Lexington. On the plane the stewardess overheard an interesting conversation about a basket ball game involving the U of K. As the stewardess was very interested in basket ball she de- cided she would attend the game. The fact that they would not leave Lexington until 12:00 o'clock p.m., she would have enough time to see the game. When they reached the airport she took a cab to the gym. She bought her ticket at once and went to her seat. As soon as she was seated the game started. She sat there looking at the game and she noticed a familiar face. The stewardess looked again and saw it was Donald Sellers, a former classmate of E. H. S., who is now head coach of U. K. She could very well see how he became head coach of U. K. because he was very interested in the game at high school. After the game she went to talk with Donnie. They were talking about some of their former classmates and Donnie told her that Barbara Holmes, or Mrs. John Reeb, lived in McCutchanville. Donnie then said he had to go to the dressing room with his players, the stewardess bid him goodbye and went back to the airport. She then called Barbara and asked her to meet her at the airport in Evansville. When she reached Evansville Barbara was there to meet her, Barbara then insisted on her going home with her for dinner. When they were driving home in her cadillac she said she now lived in McCutchan- ville and had two children. After they arrived at her home and had a de- licious dinner, Barbara told her that three other classmates of E. H. S. lived in Evansville. Barbara drove the stewardess to Deaconess Hospital to see Gyneath Gwaltney. As they walked in the hospital a young nurse met them.. The stewardess immediately recognized Gyneath. Barbara and the stewardess stayed with Gyneath for a while, then Barbara suggested that they go see James Anderson. They then went to Servel where James Anderson is President. When they went into his office the secretary said they could go right in. As they walked through the door they saw a tall, Well dressed man sitting behind the desk. The stewardess learned that Jim was married and had three lovely children of which he was very proud. After they left Jim, they went to eat lunch. When they walked into the cafe they saw Gerald Thene and he asked them to have lunch with him. After they ordered, the stewardess asked Gerald what he did now. He said that he owned the Courier and Press and that he was not married, but engaged to a wonderful girl. Gerald has really come up, when they were in school he was just a paper boy for the Courier and Press. CContinued on next pagej

Class Poem Our studies are upg the future is bright, Our minds are full and fitg We're on our own after tonight, Let's make the best of it. The world is getting all war torn, Our boys may have to go, P But their minds are full of knowledge So they won't mind it so. If the army doesn't take them The boys will be so glad, Let's look at the class of '52 And see just what we had. First there's Clyde and Jess, Great iarmers they will beg Donald and James Anderson Will own a factory. Now probably old Jim Miller As a lawyer will be grand, And Dewey and McDaniel will Have a popcorn stand. Gerald Thene will own a newspaper, Green will be his copy boy, And I, Ronald Oster, won't amount to much, For I'm a lazy boy. Now for the Senior girls! This is what they'll do: Doris will travel around the world And so will Barbara Lou. In our class we have two housewives, Dolores Niederhaus aniSharon Trible. They will spend the re of their lives Making their husbands happy - not irritable Barbara H. will be a housewife too And have a little kid or two 5 Gyneath's ambition is to be a nurse And this is the end of this little verse.
