In April of 1940 they moved to Elberfeld where Don entered the fourth grade and finished his school career. Don played two years of basketball in grade school and played on the' first five during his four years in High School. He was Co-Captain during his Senior year. In his Junior Year he was awarded the Kiwanis sportsmanship award for outstanding soortsmanship. Don was elected Vice President of his class during his Freshman, Sophomore and Senior years. He was Treasurer during his Junior year. During his Senior year, he was elected King of the Fall Festival. He took part in the Junior and Senior plays, NMamma's Baby Boyn and nAunt Tillie Goes To Townn. Don was business mana- ger of the Nvoicen and the yearbook, Memoirs. DOROTHY MAE KOHLMEYER, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eli Kohl- meyer, was born February 28, 1951, two and one half miles north of Elberfeld. She went to Black Oak School her first two years. The school was then consolidated and she came to Elberfeld where she finished her school career. Dorothy has been active in many school activities. She was in the Glee club four years and also in the Sunshine club four years. During her Senior year she was President of the Sunshine club. She w s Vice President of her class in her Junior year. Dorothy was a rerorter for the Wvoicen and the Yearbook. She took part in the Junior and Senior plays, WMamma's Ba- by Boyn and nAunt Tillie Goes to Townu. She also participated in WThe Beauty Contestn, and HGeorgia Jubilee Minstreln. LESTER MENKE, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Menke, was bgfn September lO, 1931, one mile southeast of Elberfeldw Lester received all of his education at Elberfeld High School. He operated the movie projector for two years. He joined the Glee Glub during his Senior year and took part in the WGeorgia Jubilee Minstreln. He was printer for the Wvoicen and 'Yearbookn. P PATRICIA QAE RANKIN, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A, W, Rankin, was born on September 23, 1951, Outer First Avenue, igvgngvillg, Indiana. A year later Robert and his family moved to Reed, Kentucky where he attended school for 7 years. They then moved to Elb- erfeld where Robert has finished his education. He was printer for the Hvoicen and Assistant Business Man- ager for the WYearbookU. BOBBY LEE SCHULTZ, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Schultz, was born on May 5, l951, one and one-half miles southeast of Elbbre feld, Indiana. He received all of his education here at Elberfeld. In-hls Sophomore year he was Treasurer. and in his Junior year he was President of his class. Bobby was Humor Editor of the Voice and Art Editor of the yearbook. He Joined the Glee Club during the last semester of his Senior year. He participated in the minstrel HGeorQ1a Juh1leeQ and also part in the Junior and Senior plays, NMamma's Baby Boyn, and 0Aunt Tillie Goes to Town.n DONALD R. SILKE, son of Mr. and Mrs. William L. Sllke, was born on September 4, 1951 ln Elberfeld. At the aae of six he entered the Elberfeld school and has completed all twelve years of his education there. 4 Don has been active in all extra-curricular activities. He has been with the orchestra ever since the fifth grade pplaylng the Violin and trumpet, and a member of the Glee Club for two years. He was interlocuter ln the UGeorsia Jubilee Minstrel W and took part in the opperetta WTop of The World.n
