He scored a total of 298 points for the season, which was high for the team. This gave him the honor of being the Elitss leading scorer for the past three years. Don was also selected as the outstanding player of the Warrick Co. Tourney this year. Don Silks, Senior Ace Forward, and the other Co--Captain, had a very good season this year also, scoring 212 points. Don did an outstanding Job on rebounding, and made some ' very needed points from that set shot: from the side. ' Charles Poiles, Junior Forward, scored 113 points for the Elites. He was very good with those drive in lay up shots,and stayed in there fighting until the game was over. Roscoe Sellers, Sophomore Guard, scored a total of 102 points for the season. Roscoe is a very good guard and a hard fighter, he was always in there pitching till the very end. Kermit Miles, Junior, another guard scored 62 points. Kermit was a good ball handler, who d1dn't shoot often, but when he did shoot one of those long shots he usually made it count. Royce Speicher, Junior Forward, scored 58 points. He was a very dependable substitute. He was good with those one- handed shots from anywhere on the floor. . Jim Harbrison, Senior Guard,scored a total of 33 points, Jim could always take careaof the ball and could drop in those one handed shots from anywhere on the floor. 'I aff ., ' rieiff. The seconds scores a total of 605 points for the entire season for an awww age of 33.5 points per game. Their opponents scores 397 points for the season for an average of 22 points per game. Lonnie Langford scored 127 points for the season to lead the second team scoring.
