MISS MONICA TOWLES Miss Monica Towles, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Towles, was chosen first run- ner up in the Miss Elbala beauty pageant. She is amember of the FBLA, Student Coun- cil, president of FHA, historian of the French Club, Good Citizenship Girl, and the 1976 Girls’ State Delegate.

MISS ELBALA CONTEST HELD DECEMBER 2 On the evening of December 2, 1976, thirty-six eg ladies competed for the title of Miss Elbala. These girls all agreed that practice for the pageant was quite an experience. However, nothing was comparable to the thrill and excite- ment that the final night brought. As the final moments ticked by, the anticipa- tion was relieved as Miss Sharon Coon Wes crowned Miss Elbala for 1976- Miss Sharon Coon is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Coon. Her favorite hob- bies include skating, cooking, and sewing. She chooses as her eee classes Home Economics and Mytho- logy Our congratulations go to our Miss Elbala, Sharon Coon.

TAMMY PADGETT Miss Tamm Tele ie daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Winford Padgett, was chosen second runner up in the Miss Elbala beauty pageant. She is a member of the band, FHA, Jr. Girl Scout troop, and is an Acteen at Westside Baptist Church.
