Let him step to the music he hears, however measured and far away. —Thoreau Bring a senior has brrn a happy, exciting, hut sad time. All were ecstatic at the beginning of the school year; hut as the year drew to a close, wr realized the fact that we would not just be leaving school, hut leaving friends—sonic of whom we may never see again. No explanation can completely depict the many emo- tions which seniors have experienced: pride, conceit, joy. and love—love for all those who have helped us obtain our goal. o one would enjoy making an admission to the fact that we all love our classes and. yes. even our teachers. If we did not care about our classes and teachers, then why is it that most of us feel as though we will cry or sense an unexplainable emotion as we shall hear Pomp ami Circumstance being played when we slowly march in and pay our last tribute to Elba High School? None can really understand the feelings of what it means to be a senior until they fill the vaeant places left by the graduating seniors of the previous year. Good luck and may life give you all its best. Sun brwi, kplrrird as the 1975 D.A.R. Good Citiwn.
