Perspective . . . There was a time, once, when all an individual needed to make his mark in the world were a crayon and the innocent smile of youth. The years began to total two, then four, ten. then twelve. and the child grew in his knowledge of the world, his friends, and himself. Each needed more than that gaudy crayon and that won- derful smile to tell the world of all he had discovered. There were hands ever reaching. ever pressing forward. There were sentences - simple ones, sometimes jumhled, always meaningful: and there were actions, expressing more than those eloquent phrases. But most of all there was that smile: trusting, loving, forgiving, expressing what deeds could not do and words dare not try. And with this smile we open the 1972 Revue.
