In the matter of dollars and cents the Freshmen increased their treasury balance by a successful sale of personalized stationery as well as by selling refreshments at home football games. In sports, two Freshmen, Frank Markwica and Eugene Richenberg, won places on the Varsity squad while many of the boys play on the Junior Varsity team. Three Freshmen girls root for these 'beams as cheerleaders .
