The elected queen, Grace Engle, held court with her two attendants, Caroline Vigneri and Rita Yerger. Lyle Talbot, one of our class members, was elected Vice President of the Student Council. Our boys as well as the girls of our class are very active in athletics. Many of our boys made the Varsity and Junior Varsity teams and help to lead our school to victory. V ' , 1,. In the matter of dollars and cents the Freshmen increased their treasury balance by a successful sale of personalized stationery as well as by selling refreshments at home football games. In sports, two Freshmen, Frank Markwica and Eugene Richenberg, won places on the Varsity squad while many of the boys play on the Junior Varsity team. Three Freshmen girls root for these 'beams as cheerleaders .
