Fra.nk Elliott Helene Schultz Later in the- year Edward Penepent resigned ,as class secretary and Ioan Ruck was elected to replace him. The Council Members kept the class well informed about Student Council Activities. ' Throughout the year this class has shown an abundance of school spirit and under the guidance of Miss Frances A. Kaczmarek home- room teacher, has taken an active part in many school activities. It placed a close second in the school annual magazine sales drive contest. Th . . . . e group sponsored an exhibit of war souvenirs as a side show, when the Circus came to Elba. The class is very social minded and has enjoyed Christmas and Val- entine's Day parties. A class picnic has been pla.nned for Iune. Dancing classes in connection with the study of music and ,lantern slides on New York State in social studies class have been especially enjoyed by the pupils of this class. With the experience in the management of class meetings and activi- ties, obtained this year, the class of 1952 hopes to accomplish even more next year. 22
