In civics, they heard candidates for various state offices and in all classes they dis- cussed lVlcGovern-Nixon and the issues of Viet Nam war, pollution and Proposition 14 Ctaxesb and the pros and cons of marijuana. Seniors showed a concern for the welfare and future of the country, and were preparing for their place as leaders of tomorrow's world. 27
