Looking sharp and pretty in their new blue and gold uniforms were the girls of action in the Drill Team. Colonels Tara Stewart and Ellen Thomas and teacher Mrs. Sandy Behrmann made the dreams ofa greater Drill Team a reality by putting the girlsthrough some rigid practices and routines every day during 4th period and after school. At the first of four home games, they rocked out to U25 or 6 to 4 by Chicago . Circus Time , Roaring 2O's , Cha-Cha-Cha , and Can-Can were other themes performed by the Drill Team and Band for the appreciative audiences in the bleachers. The splash of blue and gold pompoms waving in the stands added to the spirit of the Eagles and fans alike. Determination to change and improve won out for everyone as the Drill Team moved ahead to lead the school in spirit.
