' The first game of the season was against the heavier NVilliam Beaumont Hospital eleven. The game was played on the NVilliam Beaumont field and was a slow one on account of the dusty gridiron. The first score of the game came from a sensational forward pass from XVhittington to hffyers, who ran 25 yards for a touchdown. This score was made in the second quarter. The- last touchdown came when, after a series of line plunges and end runs, Soto carried the ball over in the last quarter. The' final score was I3-O, Panthers favor.
