Ponder, recipient of the E award Carol May turning the gavel over to Eddie Duncan STUDENT COUNCIL Semi-annually, elections are held for student body offices. These two weeks of campaigning and elec- tions take place in Ianuary and May. The different offices sought are student body pres- ident, vice-president, secretary, two councilmen-at- large, and two program managers. The five yell lead- ers are elected for a full year in the May election. The members take over activities such as operation of the coke machines. The Student Council is composed of the student body officers and representatives from each classifi- cation.
