Diner's Card. He had been to Jupiter and when he lost his credit cards he was unable to book passage on a commercial space line. Now he would have no trouble returning to Earth. DIANE ROBENSTEIN also joined the group at Space Station 2. She was now a high-fashion model and traveled from planet to planet showing the latest designs of that famous designer, CHARLIE SMITH. He had surprised all his friends when he entered the field of fashion and became an overnight success. STEVE CONSTANT was Charlie's agent and he, too, traveled from planet to planet to make sure that everything went smoothly and especially to make sure the models were properly taken care of. From Space Station 2 it was a short hop to the Moon. There was a welcoming delegation waiting at the Docking Port. JON CRUSIUS had been at the Moon for the past month showing his prize winning swine. He hoped to start the farmers there on the path of developing a strain of hogs that would do well on the Moon. PAT GREENWOOD had just opened a new branch store on the Moon. Her experience at the IGA in El Paso had convinced her that she should open her own chain of food marts and so she had incorporated the Interplanet Food Shoppes, with stores on all the planets. DEBBIE ARENDS was there to escort the group to the Lunar Hilton. She was the Manager of this newest hotel in the Hilton Chain. ALICE BARKER was the Chief Lifeguard at the Lunar Hilton and BARB HER SHE conducted a nursery school for the children of the guests of the hotel. LINDA TALBERT and ALLENE VAN SCYOC were appearing in the floor show of the Astta Room at the Hilton. Linda was billed as the Blonde Bombshell and her act was as lively and frantic as the name implies. Allene was known as the Dimpled Darling of the Asteroids . HANK WAGNER was at the Moon as he was an entrant in the Mr. Galaxy Contest. He had recently been name Mr. World in some very stiff competition at New York City. ELLEN ARMSTRONG was attending a bowling tournament. Bowlers from all over the Universe were there to find the Champion Bowler of the planets and Ellen was now in second place. JENNIFER LINDSEY and LARRY HARRAWOOD had professional offices in the Hilton. They had been successful marriage counselors on Earth, and when the Lunar Hilton was opened they decided to combine their talents and open an office on the Moon. After hearing the tales of their clients, they both were convinced marriage was not for them. Among the entertainment that the Hilton had arranged was a style show. PAT JANSSEN was the top model in the show, coming here from a highly successful career in Paris. BARB KINGDON, a favored guest at the hotel, had been widowed recently. Her husband had been a successful space ship manufacturer and he had left her a huge fortune. JIM EVERETT would be returning to Earth with the group. He was taking over the Jim Nabor role on the Comer Pyle show, and he had been on the Moon shooting some scenes for the next show. DAVID SPARKS, owner and operator of the David Sparks Dancing School, would be remaining on the Moon. He had been commissioned by the Lunar government to teach the Moon Maidens the latest steps from Earth. While the return trip went without a hitch, to MAUREEN DUFFY it seemed to take forever. She was a highly successful tour director, but now she was anxious to return to her husband, three sons, and thirteen French poodles (what else could a frustrated hair stylist do if she had no daughters?). Everyone agreed that the highlight of the trip was the unexpected rendezvous with a mysterious spaceship as they were returning to Earth. GAIL MORELAND came aboard. She was now a famous War Correspondent on a secret mission for the Government. She brought the startling news that while on an as-yet-unknown planet she had discovered MR. McNEALY still teaching school. His subject--Modem Problems, of course! 23
