Home Coming Dance As usual, tIn performers under the Iti r Top were eager to do their part in everything and El Paso’s Second Annual Corn Festival was no exception. One of the highlights of the celebration was ESS’s first football game of the season with Leroy. The Corn Queen and her Attendants were among the en- thusiastic spectators at the game and the dedication of the new field lights. On October 8, the doors of the Big Top were thrown open to welcome back all alumni. The parade of events began the night before, with a bonfire, pep meeting, and snakedance. The Homecoming game was a close match with Lexington. The final attraction of the evening was a dance in the gym with the music of Larry Lonney.
