In due course, they were initiated as members of E.T.H.S. Offioers for the year were: President, Wid. Brines Vioe-President, Elaine Bohlander; Seoretary-Treasurer, Homer Clark; Student Council Representative, Clayton Schofield. Miss Henderson and Mr. Snyder were our advisers. Our first activity was a weiner roast. It was quite an exciting year and vaoation time soon came. Lloyd Kingdon moved to Watseka during the year. Back again in the fall,we needed no introduction. We were sophomores and woe be unto any freshman who failed to recognise our suthority. The following offioers were eleoted: President, Clayton Schofield; Vioe-Pres-ident, Wid Brines; Seoretary-Treasurer, Homer Clark; Student Counoil Representative, Helen Jo 0 Connor. Y e lost three of our classmates. Keith Elting moved to Washburn and Fern Lock and Lois Powers transferred to Normal Community. Vacation time passed and in 1940 we were Juniors. We had three new members, Ada Radcliff, Alvin Jakob, and Florence Storts. Skidding our Junior play was a great success and so was the patriotic show which we sponsored. Mr. Classen, Mr. Noe, and Miss Smith were our advisers. All our effort was directed to the Prom which was(in our estimation)the best ever given at E.T.H.S. Our offioers were: President, Wid. Brines;Vioe- President, Junior Keehma; Secretary-Treasurer, Homer Clark; Student Council Representatives, Clayton Schofield and Helen Jo O'Connor. Well here we are almost at the end of our senior year. Mr. Classen, Miss Davis and Mr. Claggett are our sponsors. The oast is working hard on our play American Passport. The annual The Cameteer will soon be finished. Leila Stotler is our editor-in-ohief. The D.A.R. award this year was presented to Leonora Altum. Our offioers are: President, Wid. Brines; Vice-President, Homer Clark; Seoretary-Treasurer, Elaine Bohlander; Student Counoil Representatives, Clayton Schofield and Helen Jo O'Connor. Suoh is the history of the Senior class of 1942, who leave E.T.H.S. with the deepest regret. 10
