On the north wall is the banner which was carried when the Ozark Ordnance XVorks was presented the Army-Navy E award. On the same wall are autographed pictures of the famed violinist, Rubinoff: Cap- tain William Santllemann, leader of the Marine Band, and its accomplished solo- ists. There are pictures of state and regional elinies, where members of the band participated with students over the South in making music. 'l'here are souvenirs of the band's trip to New Orleans when it again represented the state at the Lion's International Convention. There they entered in competition with 75 bands from nearly every state and several nations. The hand placed seventh in marching and concert work femerging more prosperous by a hundred dollars, and had the distinction of being the only band Chosen to appear on a special program given before 8,000 persons.
