Of 248 debates they won 160 and lost only 88. The group participated in tourn- aments at Ft. Scott, Atchinson, Winfield, Topeka, Hutchinson, Emporia, Garden City, Wyandotte, and Haven. El Dorado had their own invita- tional tournament. A four-speaker team consisting of Terry Sellards and Bob Evans, affirmative, and Gary Bracken and Joe Schrengohst, negative, placed third in the district tournament at Wichita. Third place trophies were won at the Russell, Topeka, and Emporia tournaments. Z3
