The BELLS serve at all Col- lege productions as ushers or what- ever other capacity they may fill. Serving as first semester officers with Eva Rivas as faculty sponsor were: Pres, Tonie Knapp; Vice- Pres., Emily Jones; Secretary, Kay Haga; Treasurer, Jeanne Clark. The second semester officers were: Audine Campbell, Pres; Tonie Knapp, Vice- Pres.; Kay Haga, Sec.; Virginia Pfiffner, Treas. SIGMA SIGMA The Sigma Sigma or Scholarship Society as it is sometimes called is made up of those members of the college student body with a B aver- age or better. This organization is open to both men and women of El Camino and is active in rendering services to the College. Since that time they have grown far beyond its expectations. The Pledge Slave Sale, Pledge-Active Surprise, a reversal of pledging, pledge emblems and pinsJ sorority songs and exchange meetings with local fraternities were initiated this year. These activities in addition to formal or traditional functions of Gamma Phi Delta endeavor to provide a high standard of social life for its members and con- tribute to the growth and development of El Camino.
