Probably not-- the first El Cajon Valley High School was the second story of Meridian School, located at Third Avenue, from 1894 to 1908. About this time, the El Cajon Valley Union High School pictured here was built and lasted until 1920. This inscription appears on the bell's stand: This bell Pratt, principal of El Cajon Valley Union High School, until his retirement in 1915, at which time it was presented by Claude V.
