uriic THE RED ROBE CHOIR RED ROBE CHOIR The Red Robe Choir, under the direction of Mrs. Merle C. Donohue, upheld its reputation as the best in the west by giving several impressive programs this year on campus and oft, The members participated in the an- nual Christmas pageant, were invited to sing in various other areas, and acted as host-choir for the San Diego High School Choral Concert, which is held annually. LES BELLES TRIO LES BELLES TRIO Carolyn Watson, Norma Reiss and Linda Barbour have made themselves quite a name under the title of Les Belles Trio. Events such as Skitch Phillips Presents, Dukes' Drag, Band Assembly, and Red Robe Choir Night all had them as featured singers. The Les Belles Trio have long been an established group at G.H.S.

Many cub reporters could be found throughout the year roaming around the campus with noses tor news. The editor-in-chief and the page editors were kept busy assigning and editing stories, writing headlines, and pasting up the pages before their deadlines. Helping to put out the paper were advertising, circulation and business managers. The latter was directed this year by Mr. Willard Barkell of the commercial department.
