Basic courses offered This year at D. D. Eisen- hower math was arequired course. Students were al- lowed to select certain math courses according to their rate of learning and achieve - ment. Learning about the earth, plants, and different ele- ments were all topics in the science classes. During lab time, students experi- mented with different chem- icals. In recognizing the impor- tance of foreign languages, Mrs. A.nnaJohnson and Mr. Jose Espinused a variety of teaching methods. Stu- dents learned words and sentence structure, which later created in them an understanding for the lan- guage. Musical talents were ex- pressed through the vocal and band classes. With a lot of student work and teacher know-how, musical concerts throughout the year were a success.
