Football T'he team as a whole was chosen the mythical number one high school team in the state by Washington sportswriters. The columnists also nominated two cadets, Steve Dale and Mark Miller, to the All-State squad and gave Spud Edmondson and Glen Shaw special recognition. This 1964 season brought to an end the association of I4 boys, all graduating seniors who have played ball together with this obiective for the maiority of their years in school. With the 'help of their coaches over the years, Clayton Frasier, Curtis Christian, Duck Daugherty, Don Holder, '63 and '64, Art Hutton, '62, and Lee Bofto '59 through '61, together they say Mission accomplished! . . . a season that will be remembered for years to come. The players paused for meditation before going onto the field. X Head Coach Clayton Frazier briefed Steve Stevenson before sending him into the action. Terry Antles Rick Bradley -MMMQN Cadet The i964 Cadet Football team carried the ball to the first perfect season in Eisenhower's history by winning all nine of their varsity games. This talented and flexible squad, supported by an enthusiastic student body scored 348 points against their opponents' 43 to furnish the best grandstand fare that Yakima fans have witnessed in years.
