Cadets-Ma The Eisenhower Cadet Band had an active year under the leadership of Director Dick Schact- ler. Starting the season with a concert at the Central Washing- ton Fair, the band participated in a variety of events. The band add- ed to the spirit and color of our football games by presenting half time performances and combined with the Davis Band for a half- time spectacular at the memo- rable Ike-Davis game. As a marching band they par- ticipated in the WSU band day, the Veteran's Day parade, the balloon parade and finished the year with the Memorial Day pa- rade. On January 27, the band with the assistance of the Davis band, performed a Concert at Davis that was well received by the public . . . Eisenhower was proud of their blue uniformed Cadets as they performed as a marching band and as a concert band.
