H.M.S. PINAFORE H, M. S. Pinaforef' a satire of Victoria's navy, was pre- sented by the sophomore class May 17th. The stars were Warren Wascher as Sir Joseph Proctor, admiral of the Queen's navy, Tim Jochim as Captain Cor- coran, Rick Tobia in the part of Ralph Rackstraw, and Andrea Ritchey as Josephine. Kenna Thomas portrayed Little Butter- cup. Linda Wellington was Cousin Hebe, and Barry Curtis played Dick Deadeye. Tim Jochim and Kenna Thomas had a talk on the deck of the H.M.S. Pinafore. Warren Wascher pondered a prob- lem as Rick Tobia, Andrea Ritchey, Kenna Thomas, and Tim Jochirn considered the happiness of their plight. The crew of the H.M.S. Pina fore stood at attention. ' . Kim Vandiver, Linda Frank, Barry Curtis, Andrea Ritchey, and Marcia Paine practiced for fall initiation of new Thespian members. THESPIANS Thespians is a national honorary organization opened to all students who have worked in the school's dramatic productions. Besides speaking parts in per- formances, members earned points toward initiation by working on costuming, staging, prompting, and make-up. The membership this year totaled 21, including members from all three classes. Mrs. Mays, play director and the Thespian advisor, worked on make-up tor the part of Mr. Brink, played by Nick Cooper in 'On Borrowed Time, Thespian officers clowned on stage: secretary Marcia Paine, president Russ Barron, l-if1ClU Frank drew ON DGHHFS C0le's eyebrows and vice-president Andrea Ritchey.
