Sheila Kay lVlcNulty In Memoriam Sheila Kay lVlcNulty was born'on September 5, 1956. Her tragic death occurred on March 15, 1972. She left 2 brothers, Mike and Steve, and a sister, Debbie, who graduated from Eisenhower last spring. Sheila attended 4 of the Decatur Public Schools, Roach, Nluffley, Jefferson, and Eisenhower. While at E.H.S., Sheila served as Freshmen Class Secretary and on Freshmen Class Council during the 1970-71 school year. Sheila will be missed and remembered by many. . The first semester I lived with Mr. and Mrs. Eugene W. Kaskey and my two Amer- - ican sisters at 2679 So. 35th, unlike my Korean family where I have only one brother. The second semester I made my home with Dr. and Mrs. E. E. Evans and one sister at 204 Southmoreland Place. In Korea my school, Kyung Hee, campus consists of kindergarten through college. School hours in Seoul differ from those of E.H.S. - 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. I studied many more subjects. My goal is to remain in the U.S.A. to attend college and become a music teacher. My year at Eisenhower has been an exciting experience and I appreciate all the help from my teachers and the many friendsl have made. E , QW! In lVlemory of Charles Cook A sweet smile that no longer is seen in the halls of Eisenhower. Charles, a young man who was loved by his family as well as his friends, left six brothers, three sisters, and his mother. Charles passed away February 1, 1973.'He was born June 11, 1956 in Decatur, Ill. Because he was always into something his family 'nicknamed him Junebug. Charles was quite a smart young man in his books as well as with his hands. He enjoyed sports Cfootball, basketball, and baseballj andonce won a letter for track at Johns Hill Junior High. Charles had a special something about him, he could make you smile even though your day had been long and upsett,ing.'Once a teacher said, lf I had a classful of Charles' my day would be complete. He collected friends like some people collect stamps or coins. Charles enjoyed making people laugh. You could say that was his hobby. Charles also loved helping people if he was able. He cared about things that others might not think important at all. Charles had planned to go on to college after high school and major in law. He often said that he wanted to help people and be rewarded for it at the same time. Charles was quite a young man all together. He might be dead, but his ways and his special sweet smile still live on in people's minds.
