Clubs Clubs play a very important role in school life. The more a student gets involved, the more pride he takes in his school, - that is the feeling of most Eisenhower stu- dents. Eisenhower has many activi- ties to offer a student, but not all students take the opportunity to participate. One primary reason why most students belongto clubs is to make more friends and to make their years at EHS more fulfilling. Being involved in school activities allows the student to express his individuality within a groupthat is actuallytryingto accomplish a common goal or share a hobby. Students agree that clubs are a nec- essary part of school life. There were very few who chose to chal- lenge this point. We have found that the more effort the entire student body makes to back up a team, the more likely that team is to wn. Sim- ilarly, the more students involved in clubs tends to boost the general morale, unity, and spirit of the stu- dents. This was obvious as the stu- dents who did belongto a club seemed to have uplifted and more positive feelings compared to those who answered negatively. Perhaps a good adage is appro- priate for summing up the general results and also for reaping a good lesson from the survey answers: The more you give of yourself, the more you will get in return.
