POIII POIILH :mile mg: it all K z H V ' Debbie Knuth, Sue Dubay, Ann Cinque, Kathy Lonsway, Laura Green,Melanie Keyser, Missy Neucndorf, Cyndi Sweet, Kellie Mahoney, Sandy Dierich, Wendy Steltzriede, Mary Ross, Julie Ross, Armg Bovee Mrs. Cindy Bomboske, the Pom-Pon advisor has a sharp eye for perfection. Competitionf26 UA smile says it all, was the motto of the Varsity Pom Pon Squad as they kicked their way to success at summer camp. The fourteen member squad earned 32,000 which flew them to Maryville College, in St. Louis, Missouri. The girls rated highly in their night- ly performances, as they grabbed a first place ribbon each time. Through all of the hard work and excitement they were awarded five blue ribbons, a first place trophy for routine originality, the showmanship, trophy, the kick competition ribbon, and the song competition ribbon. The girls received the first place trophy as grand champs of the camp. The squad then traveled to Chicago, Illinois for the Midwest Championship, where they proved themselves well again. They received a trophy ranking them fourth in the midwest for or- iginality. Varsity steps IH time. Performance with a smile is Varsity Style.

Eisenhowefs lkettes swept the Wh- ite Pine Conference match with Lisa Barber winning the single's title, and Jeanne Beatty and Cheryl Hood win- ing the donbles title. The season was highlighted by Ei' senhowerls victories over MacArthur 5-2 and 6-l. The team participated in the class A Regional tournament, and placed third. Coach Jim Teal is in the big raquets!
