The Eisenhower Freshman Football Team ended the 1975 season with a respectable 4 win, 3 loss record. Under Head Coach Huch Matson, the Commander’s leading ground gainer was Bill Shapleigh, who gained over 1100 yards, more than any other freshman in Eisenhower history. FREENET AAO RÊN 156002 This year’s Junior Varsity Foot- ball team had a very successful T season. With a strong record of 6-1- 1, the J.V. proved to be a hard hit- ting and punishing team. A balanced backfield combined with a hard working line was the key to success. All four backs were i ИЯ capable of going “all the way” out m of a commanding wishbone offense specializing on the vier. T Coach Jim Rummler summed We Believe! up things when he said, “We were Е only three offensive plays away from an undefeated season. The Girls Varsity Tennis Team struggled their way to an 8-9 season record, then surprisingl took 3rd place in the Class regionals. Coach Jim Teal stated that the season went just about as he expected. Sophomore Lisa Barber really came on strong by winning 1 singles against MacArther twice. Lisa compiled 11 wins and 51 most valuable points, and was also chosen most valuable player. Juniors Cheryl ood and Jeanne Beatty were voted most im- proved players. Senior Captain Jeri Beatty should be recognized as holding records for most wins with 27 and most valuable points with 87. Eisenhower salutes the rest of their seniors, Debbie Burns, Sandy Graebner, Betty Jo Harshman, Maureen Sullivan, Sally Meyer, and Melanie Paik for their solid performance.
