Students learn the art of woodworking and do projects in woodshop. This year the shop classes made ski ramps forthe Woodshop isn't always all work and no play. lf l have to saw one more piece of wood. . .. gym classes to practice on. Woodshop teaches boys skills that will be useful and valuable later in lite. Bookshelves are one of the projects of wood' shop classes.

Colorin Our World Art is more than a class to go to and doodle for an hour. lt offers students a way to express themselves creatively and is an outlet for their emotions. In art classes, students get lessons in sketching, shading, and watercolor. Crafts such as pottery, leather tooling, and drafting are also offered. Hair Today Cosmetology teaches proper grooming, skin care, and getting along with others. It prepares girls for careers as beauticians. Girls learn to set and cut hair, style wigs, manicure nails and give facials. Skill contests were held among the class. Cosmetology is offered as a three hour course to juniors and seniors. ., su- Liz LaBuave practices blow drying and styling hair Patty Johnson sets and sprays her practice wig. Suzanne Shipely learns to give a manicure. f People from outside the school can get their hair done in Cosmetology.
