On February 3, the Eagle Basket- ball Team played New Caney. Along with the ordinary spirit, there was also extra anticipation for halftime. The new Basketball Sweetheart was to be announced. Senior Basketball players were the escorts for the girls the team nominated. Senior Ana Rodriguez was crowned the new Sweetheart. Ana's escort was Jeff Cantrell. The court was Senior Brenda Gooden escorted by Mike Bump, Junior Jamie Sims escorted by Greg Winn, and Junior Anita Wells escorted by Cary Carroll. After the easy victory for Ike, there was a dance held in the Sweetheart's honor. Freshman Debbie Noland shows everyone how to BOOGIE! Senior Doug Supernaw and Sophomore Kim Schmidt were the winners of the Disco Danc- ing Contest. Everyone joined in the fun of the Dance Contests, even Seniors! ue' fi Sommer Moore, freshman, tries to tell everyone that she doesn't know how to dance.
