Cruisin ' Senior Jeff Cantrell owns his own classicp a candy fire-engineered '57 Chevy. It has roll pleated interior and a high performance 283. Cruisin' around is a big thing at Ike. Cars and trucks have come a long way. Everything is customized todayp cars can have anything from fur lining and fog lights to zodiac signs and pinstripes. Vehicles can express the owner's personality and the way that he drives. Cruisin' around in their own car or truck is a favorite pastime of many students. On November 12, the Senior Class sponsored the first Sadie Hawkins Dance. The girls were to ask guys to this dance which was complete with hay and shotgun wedding pictures. Music was provided by Southern Comfort which included Senior Rock Phil- lips and David Broyles. l You want'a dance again? moans Steve Catlett to Brenda Goo- den. Senior Troy Smith smiles for the camera as Tina and Kristi Emer- son laugh. Jimmy Camp tries to 2-step with Angela Macey. Senior Rock Phillips gets that peaceful, easy, feeling
