Back when school began in late August, the new seniors of Eisenhower were all keyed up to begin their last high school year. Taking the SAT and the ACT along with other numerous achievement tests was one step closer to getting accepted to the college of their choice, yet somehow then it seemed so far away, and many were still undecided about what to do in the years after Ike. As time Preparin fo Graduafe! rolled by, the seniors all realized that the year had literally flown by. Preparations for graduating had begun. First was picking nominees for senior favorites, then cap and gown fittings and senior pictures. Next in line was ordering graduation announcements and voting on the class motto, song, flower, and colors. Along with getting all set for the Prom at the Warwick, the constant nagging of keeping the grades up was on the minds of all. No one wanted to have to take their last final exams when there was so much else going on! The last set of activities included the practice at the Sam Houston Coliseum for commencement exercises, senior breakfast, and cap and gown day. if ,.,. ff: ,... T, . Xi?
