The Eisenhower Art Club has done an outstanding job this year. On the day of the KJ Homecoming Game, the Art Club was awarded the Spirit Stick. They helped promote school spirit by making posters and decorating bulletin boards in the student lounge. They made the backdrops for the Coronation and the Variety Show. Although all of the Art Club fund raisers were profitable, the candy drive was the biggest success: 6,480 Lite-saver Lollipops were sold. Audio Visual Many new clubs were formed at Eisenhower this year, giving all students a chance to take part in extra-curricular activities. One of these is the Audio Visual club, formerly the Electronic Club. Sponsored by Mr. Parramore, this group of seven boys worked with the school's electronic equipment. Members of the Audio Visual Club helped video tape football, volleyball, and basketball games, as well as various other events at the school. The boys learned a lot about the use of understanding of electronics and different forms of visual and audial media. The club is looking forward to next year with hopes of expansion.
