Medical Careers Should I be a doctor or a M'S'MlChe'S' nurse? What field should I go into? What medical college should I attend? These questions and many more are frequently asked by the members of lke's medicalcareersclub. l I Included in their many activi- ties was the Christmas stockings made for the children at Texas Childrens Hospital. They also sponsored a green thumb .T project in which they made wooden flower boxes for a nurs- ing home. One of the most important activities they organ- ized was the annual blood drive, which proved very successful. Mr. Smith contributes to the blood drive. The Eisenhower Art Club has done an outstanding job this year. On the day of the KJ Homecoming Game, the Art Club was awarded the Spirit Stick. They helped promote school spirit by making posters and decorating bulletin boards in the student lounge. They made the backdrops for the Coronation and the Variety Show. Although all of the Art Club fund raisers were profitable, the candy drive was the biggest success: 6,480 Lite-saver Lollipops were sold.
