Special Education SMI and MMI Expand Curriculum The Special Education program at Campus is in its second year. Staff members include a social vvorker, speech therapist, psycholo- gists and those working with the visually impaired. Special Ed is divided into two departments. SIVII, formerly TIVIH, deals with severe mental impairment. lVllVll, formerly ENIH, works with those of moderate mental impairment. Both departments instruct the students in math and good grooming. Skills in self-help are offered to prepare the students for when they leave the program. Students also participate in' physical education activities and arts and crafts projects. 1 1.
