Driver's Educotion Improved Focilities to Help Driyer's Ed. By the beginning of the 1976 school year, Eisenhower Campus will hopefully be equipped with simulated driving facilities. The simug lated driving will be used as part of the driving 'phase and will allow the student to experience traffic and driving situations he may possibly not have while in a driver education car. This year's students had to work the driving phase outside of school time or in the summer. The instructor taught them how to improve their driving skills and techniques. Each student was re- quired to have six hours of driving behind the wheel. The biggest change in the driver education program is that it will be offered during the regular school day. lt will operate on a se- mester basis. Hopefully, the program will be set up to handle the entire sophomore class at each school. 2 I 1 OOPS!
