Assistont Superinteadents Help Dr. Johnson V, sa. .far Him Behind District 218's growth and progress have been four men who have worked closely with Dr. Johnson, Dennis E, Bapst has been associated with District 218 and D.D.E. since 1947. lVIr, Bapst has taught math, science, and has been a coach. He was ap- pointed assistant superintendent of administrative services in 1969. Charles A. Coker was appointed assistant superintendent of business affairs in 1968. Dr. James B. lVliller has been the assistant superintendent of personnel ser- vices since 1967. Dr. Warren J. Vorreyer has been assistant superintendent of instructional services since 1967. Dr. Vorreyer was also assistant superintendent for per- sonnel services from 1965-67. MTU!!! 3
