Girls Engoge in Stote Competition Although their season was not the best, five girls qualified for the state track meet at Charleston, Illinois. The Eisen- hower contenders were Joi Bolton, Eileen Siebert, Michele Bruno, Roberta Eisner and Cindy Plahm. Joi Bolton was the only one who made semi-finals. 1. Girls Tennis is Growing Ropidly Despite the fact that the girls tennis team was unable to work their way to the top this season, the members of the team showed more interest and determina- tion than in previous years.
